The effects of the different sound elements ensure that the sound is heard. Foley sound is used when making the sound of the waves to make it more prominent. Also the use of a soundtrack when the first fish is shown builds up tension therefore making the audience suspicious about what is about two happen. - Enhance characterisation
There can also be
- A purpose use of silence
Ultimately there is always
- An effect on the audience
Foley sound: The reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films, video and other media in post production, to enhance audio quality. Theses are recorded inside using props
Equipment= Microphones, headphones, radio microphones, boom poles, windshields, vocal both sound effects props
Techniques= Microphones placement, setting levels use of ambient sound
Sound compression- downward and upward compression
sound compression is when you reduce the volume of loud sound (downward) or amplify quiet sounds (upwards) therefore reducing or compressing an audio signals dynamic range
Size verses quality- Lossy Vs Lossless

I exported my Foley work in 4 different ways. M4A, MP3, AIF, WAVE. These are the names of the different ways to export the sound files. This is so when I listen back I can understand what the best quality sport it is therefore when I make the podcast I know what will give the best quality.
